Surrounded by beautifully landscaped grounds, elegant reception rooms and its famous walled garden, this exclusive-use East Yorkshire venue provides a breathtaking setting for couples dreaming of a relaxed yet luxurious wedding day.

We were delighted to return to Saltmarshe Hall to provide live string quartet music for Sean & Jasmine's beautiful summer wedding.

Despite the soaring temperatures (and the rather tempting swimming pool nearby!), we stayed focused on creating the perfect soundtrack for their celebration. Their ceremony took place in the stunning walled garden, one of our favourite spaces to perform. The intimate setting, surrounded by colourful planting and historic brick walls, creates a wonderfully romantic atmosphere, while live strings add warmth and elegance to every moment.

We recently had the pleasure of having The Fern String Quartet perform at our wedding in East Yorkshire, and we can't express how grateful we are for their incredible contribution to our special day.

What impressed us just as much as their performance was the excellent communication we received from Fionnuala prior to the wedding; she was responsive, professional, and accommodating, making the entire process seamless and stress-free.
The Fern String Quartet truly exceeded our expectations, and we would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a talented and reliable group to perform at their special occasion. They are a class act, and we feel lucky to have had them be a part of our wedding day.

Drinks Reception at Saltmarshe Hall

Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed drinks in the beautiful grounds while we continued performing a relaxed mix of modern pop favourites, film music and well-loved classics.

One of the highlights of the afternoon was taking requests from guests, allowing us to personalise the performance even further and create a fun, interactive atmosphere. Live music during a drinks reception encourages guests to relax, chat and enjoy every moment while the newlyweds capture those all-important photographs.
