Hannah and Connor celebrated their beautiful wedding at Wood Lane Countryside Centre in Sheffield, a charming countryside venue tucked away on the edge of the city. We were delighted to provide live string quartet music for their wedding ceremony, helping create a relaxed and elegant atmosphere for both the couple and their guests.
Wood Lane Countryside Centre is one of our favourite South Yorkshire wedding venues. With its historic stone buildings, beautiful gardens and peaceful surroundings, it's the perfect setting for couples looking for a relaxed countryside wedding without travelling far from Sheffield.

Why We Love Wood Lane Countryside Centre
One of the things we love about performing at Wood Lane Countryside Centre is its peaceful setting. Although it's only a short drive from Sheffield, South Yorkshire, the restored Georgian stone buildings and gardens give couples the feeling of a countryside wedding, making it a wonderful venue for live acoustic music. The venue is perfect for couples wanting a smaller, lower cost venue. Our music drifted perfectly through the graden which was the ideal size for acoustic instruments. On the day, we were joined by local registrars who certainly knew how to project their voice without need of a microphone. Hannah and Connor’s wedding was full of personal touches, which included the music.

Drinks Reception
One of the perks of this location is the large tree line which gave us permanent shade. We happily kept playing after the ceremony, continuing to entertain the guests as they enjoyed their canapes and drinks. We performed a mix of modern pop, movie and disney for the mixed generation guests.

This was our first time at this Sheffield based venue, but we thoroughly enjoyed it and hope to be back soon.

On this occassion the weather was perfect and the trees helped to shade us from the direct sun. We love to perform outdoors in these conditions. At Wood Lane, acoustic music works beautifully in the gardens and complements the venue's relaxed countryside setting
