Wedding Music at Low Osgoodby Grange, North Yorkshire
There is something rather special about a wedding at Low Osgoodby Grange. Set in the beautiful North Yorkshire countryside, the venue offers a wonderfully relaxed and atmospheric setting for a wedding celebration, with its rustic character and countryside surroundings providing a beautiful backdrop for both the ceremony and reception.
We were delighted to be invited to provide live string quartet music for Caitlin and James's wedding at Low Osgoodby Grange, following their ceremony at nearby St Mary's Church in Kilburn.
From church ceremony to countryside reception
Caitlin and James chose to marry at St Mary's Church, Kilburn, where we provided music for their ceremony.
Their musical choices gave the ceremony a lovely mixture of traditional elegance and personal touches. We played Pachelbel's Canon in D for the bridal entrance, followed by Taylor Swift's Love Story and Muse's Starlight during the signing of the register, before finishing with music by U2.
Once the ceremony was over, we made our way to Low Osgoodby Grange for the drinks reception.
And this particular wedding proved that even a little Yorkshire weather can't spoil the atmosphere!
It was a very wet day, but the rain certainly didn't dampen the celebrations. We simply donned our wellies and made our way to the reception venue, where we continued playing as guests gathered to celebrate with the newlyweds.
