Music Throughout the Wedding Day
For Mike and Tilly's wedding, we performed a carefully chosen selection of music that reflected their personalities and complemented every stage of the day.
Live music welcomed guests as they arrived before the ceremony, accompanied the bridal entrance, provided a beautiful soundtrack during the signing of the register and celebrated the couple's exit as newlyweds.
Later, as guests enjoyed drinks and explored the grounds, the quartet performed a mixture of classical favourites alongside modern arrangements, creating a relaxed backdrop while everyone enjoyed the beautiful surroundings.
One of the joys of performing live is that every wedding is unique. Whether couples choose timeless classics by Bach and Pachelbel or contemporary songs by artists such as Ed Sheeran, Coldplay or Taylor Swift, every performance is tailored to their day.
This one felt extra special for us — it’s the first wedding this season with our core members (Alison, Alex, Natalie and Fionnuala) all playing together, and what a perfect day to kick things off. Mike and Tilly truly couldn’t have chosen better weather: warm (but not too warm), completely dry, and just right for an outdoor ceremony.
Tilly’s dream of saying “I do” outside came true, and it was such a joy to be part of it — soaking up a little sunshine while keeping ourselves (and our instruments!) safely tucked into the shade.
